Today, as Obama raves on about the legacy of Lincoln, I want to remind everyone that Abraham Lincoln was one of the founders of the Republican Party and was the first Republican President.

it is interesting i agree.
however i do believe that their idea is how he abolished slavery, and obama is black. Personally what i find odd is how so few americans know that Lincon did not actually want to abbolish slavery, simply to keep the union.
